Xiaomi’s self-managed store at Jewel Changi Airport is now ready for you

After keeping it under wraps during its renovation period, Xiaomi has officially announced the store opening of its self-managed Jewel Changi Airport outlet.

The date: 11 October 2025.

According to its official note to the media, Xiaomi’s Jewel Changi Airport outlet spans 203sqm (~2,185sqft). It marks Xiaomi’s 10th official store in Singapore. It is not an existing unit that has been renovated or refurbished, making it a brand-new addition to other self-managed outlets, such as Funan and City Square Mall.

This outlet carries 400 SKUs spanning across smartphones, smart home appliances, and other ecosystem products. For reference, the self-managed Shopee online store that appeared in May 2025 had only 200 SKUs at launch. 

This makes the Jewel Changi Airport outlet really well-stocked, making it especially convenient for folks who need to grab a flight-safe power bank or other appliances right before an overseas trip.

As a self-managed and directly-operated Xiaomi store, the shop staff are trained by Xiaomi and expected to be fully knowledgeable about the products available, right down to providing demonstrations and consultations on the spot. The shop also handles after-sales services and deliveries.

Globally, Xiaomi has roughly 200 stores (not including the ones in China). It will be putting up 15 more stores by end-2025, totalling another 20 by end-2026. A part of Xiaomi’s retail plans is to use these self-managed stores to host fan engagement events, photography exhibitions, and other activities, beyond just pushing its “Human x Car x Home” narrative or simply selling products.

Additionally, Xiaomi’s flagship EV, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, makes an appearance for curious visitors who wish to inspect the vehicle in person. If you’re looking for it, the car is at Level 1, next to the Jewel Rain Vortex, facing an escalator.

To accompany its official opening, the Xiaomi store at Jewel Changi Airport will have launch promotions on 11 and 12 October 2025.

Visitors to the store can purchase the following heavily discounted products, which are limited to a fixed number of units per day.

Xiaomi’s Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg, which was new to the Singapore market (and sold out within its first month), is now restocked with units on display at the new Jewel outlet as well.
