Belkin has issued recalls for three of its products:
According to Belkin, a manufacturing defect in the products’ lithium-ion cell components may cause them to overheat. The overheating could pose a fire hazard. The company also stressed that the recalled products should not be used even if they appear to function normally.
Among the three products, only the MMA008 and BPB002 were officially sold in Singapore. Belkin advises owners of these models to stop using them immediately, disconnect them from any power source or connected product, and store them in a safe, dry location away from flammable materials or anything that could cause further damage.
