On November 10, Pokemon GO revealed its December 2025 Community Day lineup a month in advance, as creatures from previous Community Day events will return for another weekend. The upcoming Pokemon GO Community Day event will be held during the first full weekend of December, and trainers will have a chance to catch up to 16 unique Pokemon with the same Shiny odds as previous events.
Since its introduction in 2018, Pokemon GO Community Days have been utilized as a way for trainers to meet up and catch different Pokemon throughout the world. While a Community Day is active, specific Pokemon receive an increased chance to be Shiny, which can make them more enticing for some trainers to catch. The October 2025 Pokemon GO Community Day put the spotlight on Solosis, the Psychic-type Cell Pokemon that first appeared in Pokemon Black and White. Any Pokemon caught during a Community Day event will receive a unique move once fully evolved, with Solosis gaining Charm after evolving to Reuniclus.
Although Pokemon GO is starting to run out of new creatures to add to the game, trainers who missed out on past Pokemon GO Community Day events will have another chance to catch some rare critters. Pokemon GO‘s final Community Day event of 2025 will be held on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. All previous creatures that were spotlighted on Pokemon GO Community Days in 2025 will return for an encore in the December event, including Totodile and the Paldean Starter trio of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Different flower variations of Flabebe will also be spotlighted, though the Yellow, Red, and Blue variants will be region-specific. During the last 10 minutes of each Community Day hour, Pokemon like Ralts and Eevee will appear in the wild.
Like previous Pokemon GO Community Days, trainers will also obtain twice as much Candy, Stardust, and XP when catching a Pokemon during the event. Ahead of the final Community Day of 2025, Pokemon GO increased its storage capacity limit by 650 to a total of 11,150. Ergo, trainers looking to capture a lot of Pokemon during the December 2025 Community Day will not need to worry about running out of room for them.
Additionally, trainers looking to prepare for the December Community Day can take advantage of the November 2025 Pokemon GO Pass rewards and stock up on some nifty items. It remains to be seen how many trainers will take part in the final Pokemon GO Community Day of the year.
Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
