Black Ops 7 Players Can Get 10 Hours of Double XP Tokens

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 publisher Activision has announced a limited-time deal where players can earn 10 hours worth of Double XP tokens, but only if they jump into the shooter before Season 1 rolls around. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is now just days away from launch, and although the release date for its big Season 1 patch remains unknown, Activision says anybody who jumps in before the first major content update will be rewarded with 5 hours of Double XP tokens and 5 hours of Double Weapon XP tokens.

Just like past entries in the franchise, players can expect Double XP to play a major factor in Black Ops 7. Developer Treyarch Studios will likely be hosting plenty of Double XP events over the course of the game’s lifecycle, but for those who don’t want to wait for these limited-time events to roll around, it’s best to stock up on as many Double XP tokens as possible. Although Activision canceled Carry Forward for Black Ops 7, the publisher did confirm that all Double XP tokens earned in Black Ops 6 will still be brought forward to Black Ops 7. But if that wasn’t good enough, the studio is now giving players the chance to earn even more tokens at launch.

Black Ops 7 Is Giving Players Free Double XP Tokens Before Season 1

With less than one week to go until the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, publisher Activision has now revealed a limited-time offer that will grant players 5 hours of Double XP and 5 hours of Double Weapon XP. To earn the lucrative rewards, Activision says players simply need to jump into Black Ops 7 before Season 1 begins. Unfortunately, the studio has yet to confirm when the game’s first season will begin, but fans are speculating that the major update may be released at the beginning of December. If correct, that gives players around 3 weeks to play Black Ops 7 and earn 10 hours of Double XP tokens.

This new offer is by far the easiest way for players to earn a plethora of Double XP tokens, as it simply requires fans to jump in and play. However, for those looking to earn even more rewards, Activision has once again teamed up with Monster Energy for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Players can earn in-game cosmetics and Double XP tokens by purchasing qualifying cans of Monster and redeeming the code on the can via the Monster Energy x Call of Duty website.

Fans who do plan on jumping into the next Call of Duty game at launch will need to free up some space on their hard drive, as Black Ops 7‘s file size is once again absolutely massive. According to PlayStation Game Size, PlayStation 5 users will need more than 96 GB free to install the base game, which doesn’t include the Co-Op Campaign or Warzone, which come in at an additional 15 and 19 GB, respectively. However, it is worth noting that players will be able to pick and choose which packs they want to install, depending on what they want to play.
