A driver was allegedly dazed and holding a vape as his car slowly braked to a stop in the middle of an intersection along Punggol Way near Samudera LRT station on Nov 5, according to Shin Min Daily News.
Mr Xu (transliteration), 54, an engineer, told the newspaper he was driving home with his son after exercising when he noticed the car ahead moving unusually.
“The car was moving very slowly and kept braking. I thought the driver might be unwell, so I decided to stop and check,” he said.
“The car eventually stopped at the junction. We thought the driver might be having a heart attack, so we rushed over to help.”
