TikTok user stonecoldrbf has won praise online after helping an elderly motorcyclist whose bike broke down at a busy traffic junction near Geylang Bahru MRT Station.
The video has since racked up more than 240,000 views and over 15,000 likes on TikTok since it was uploaded in October.
The rider, whose TikTok page primarily features footage of her experiences as a motorbike rider in Singapore, was filming herself approaching a traffic junction, when she noticed an elderly man on a motorbike as well.
Noticing that his helmet was hanging from the side of his motorcycle rather than being worn, she sensed something was wrong and realised the bike’s fuel injector warning light was flashing, suggesting a mechanical fault.
In her video, the elderly man can be seen attempting to restart his bike by physically pushing it, but to no avail.
She gets off the bike to help, while apologising to motorists behind, as the traffic lights had turned green.
