Singaporean man arrested after drugs detected during checks at Singapore Cruise Centre


SINGAPORE – A 50-year-old Singaporean man was arrested after he was found with drugs and drug paraphernalia at Singapore Cruise Centre on Oct 17.

In a Facebook post on Nov 6, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said its officers detected anomalies in scanned images of the man’s belongings and sent him for enhanced screening.

Officers also observed that he appeared nervous, and a thorough examination uncovered a syringe suspected to be used for drug consumption, a sachet of suspected drugs and seven items of drug paraphernalia.
