Stomper Disgusted was already in line at a yong tau foo stall in Ubi when something she saw ruined her appetite.
An employee at the stall had purportedly grabbed a serving tray from the stack meant for customers’ use and placed yong tau foo ingredients directly on it.
When approached by the Stomper, the employee was said to be dismissive and continued with her work.
Employee said she had wiped the tray, but nobody saw it
According to the Stomper, the incident happened at a coffee shop in Ubi at about 1.50pm on Oct 15.
Upon seeing the employee pick up the tray and place food on it, the Stomper approached her but was reportedly “scoffed at”.

“She said she had wiped the tray, but she hadn’t, and the whole incident was witnessed by another customer,” said Disgusted.
The other customer apparently approached the employee too and mentioned that improper food handling could get the stall owner in trouble.
