SFA recalls Ohm Brand Dried Grapes after sulphur dioxide found in snack

SINGAPORE – Consumers who have bought Ohm Brand Dried Grapes and cannot tolerate or are allergic to sulphites are advised not to eat the snack, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) said.

SFA, in a statement on Nov 6, said it detected sulphur dioxide in the snack, but the allergen was not declared on the food packaging label.

If consumers have eaten Ohm Brand Dried Grapes imported from India they should seek medical advice, especially if they have concerns about their health, SFA added.
