SINGAPORE – A 30-year-old male motorcyclist died in hospital after an accident with a lorry near West Coast Park on the morning of Oct 20.
In a media reply, police said they were alerted to an accident involving a motorcycle and a lorry at the junction of West Coast Ferry Road and Harbour Drive at about 7.30am.
The motorcyclist was taken unconscious by the Singapore Civil Defence Force to National University Hospital, where he later died.
The 24-year-old male lorry driver was arrested for driving without reasonable consideration causing death, the police said, adding that investigations are ongoing.
