@the.psychguide Dating can be very difficult, and very daunting for people. When we do meet someone, it can often feel like the same surface level conversations over and over. So, try these questions to go beyond the small talk. With these 3 questions, don’t just pay attention to the answer itself, but how they answer it. Do they find the question interesting? Do they provide a level of detail that shows they want to engage with you? Or do they just default to a quick answer or a “Oh I don’t really know”. If you are dating for a long-term partner, we aren’t just looking for a spark or a fun first conversation, we are trying to assess for real compatibility in our lives, hobbies, and personalities. Despite the popular saying, opposites actually don’t attract when it comes to dating, so we need to find people that have similar morals, values, and shared interests. Because I really believe these things to be true, I partnered with a new dating app called Slove.
