The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has caught even more drivers providing illegal ride-hailing services between Singapore and Malaysia in the past four weeks.
LTA officers conducted enforcement operations at the Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints on Nov 4 and impounded five vehicles, said Senior Minister of State for Transport Sun Xueling in a social media post on the same day.
She added: “Prior to today’s ops, four vehicles were also impounded in the past three weeks, across various locations in Singapore.”
The locations included areas such as North Bridge Road and Jalan Sultan, according to LTA.
