Most Singaporeans are familiar with Teochew lor mee with goopy brown gravy, but there’s also the less common Henghwa-style white lor mee! The comforting dish comes with noodles, seafood, pork, yam and tau pok in a thick pale soup, offered by eateries like Ming Chung Restaurant. The Putian eatery has been around since 1933, starting as a restaurant at Maude Road. Now run by fourth-gen owners, it has since expanded to include two hawker outlets, with the latest one located at Ion Orchard’s revamped Food Opera food court. #8dayseathawker #fyp #sgfoodie #foodtok #tiktoksg
