Three people were caught on CCTV walking into an HDB flat under renovation and opening a cabinet by the main door, despite two contractors being inside the unit at the time.
The incident took place at about 4.50pm on Monday (Oct 5), according to CCTV footage uploaded to TikTok the following day by user gts5s5.
The one-minute-20-second video has garnered more than 13,800 views and was posted with the caption: “First post to the three clowns who trespassed onto my property and slammed my cabinet apparently thinking this was a showroom.”
The caption appears to tie in with the video’s soundtrack, The Clown Cafe, a song from a horror film.
In the footage, three people can be seen talking as they looked around the flat. A man in a black T-shirt can be seen opening the cabinet by the main door six times.
Towards the end of the video, the same man then takes several steps into the unit and appears to notice the CCTV camera, before ignoring it.
