Sonos is joining in on the Amazon October Prime Day bonanza with its own sale. Jump start your holiday shopping with discounts up to 25% off Sonos’ most popular soundbars, speakers, subwoofers, and headphones. The 25% markdown is about what I see for Black Friday, so chances are these deals are as good as the ones that will show up in November.
Sonos “Prime Day” Sale: Save Up to 25% Off
If you’re looking for an easy solution to add great sound to your home, then you’ve probably already heard of Sonos. Sonos speakers are very easy to set up, don’t take a large amount of space, and most importantly, offer distortion-free room-filling audio. They’re definitely pricier than budget options, but the sound quality is comparable to speakers that cost hundreds more or take up much more space.
$200 Off Sonos Arc Ultra Soundbar
Sonos Arc Ultra
24
Sonos’ flagship Arc Ultra soundbar drops to $899 after a $200 off discount. Given the number of upgrades, the Sonos Arc Ultra should be considered more as a new class of flagship soundbar than a mere update of the original Arc. Whereas the original Arc featured a 5.0.2ch setup with eleven speakers and no sub, the Arc Ultra boasts an expanded 9.4.1ch setup with fourteen speakers including a four-motor, dual-membrane Sound Motion woofer for better bass response and low end. This is a pretty significant upgrade alone especially if you don’t plan on adding a discrete subwoofer.
$150 Off Sonos Sub (Gen 4) Subwoofer
Sonos Sub 4
3
The Sonos Sub 4 drops to $749 after a $150 off discount. The audio savvy knows that a single speaker isn’t enough to reproduce an entire soundstage. If you could pick only one other speaker, then a subwoofer would make the most meaningful impact. The Sub 4 features dual inward-facing 5″x8″ woofers and a ported design. Improvements over the Sub 3 include a faster processor, more RAM, and Wi-Fi 6 networking.
Sonos Era 100 SL Speaker
0
The Sonos Era 100 SL drops to $149 after a $40 off instant discount. The Era 100 is Sonos’ most popular and most versatile speaker. The “SL” variant doesn’t have a microphone, so you can’t use it with a voice activated smart assistant. A common practice is to buy one Era 100 speaker and the rest Era 100 SL to save on cost.
Despite its compact size, the Era 100 houses two tweeters, a mid-woofer, and three class-D digital amplifiers to produce precise, distortion-free audio even at high volumes. It has a built-in microphone for smart functionality. Because of its flexibility, it’s often paired with a sound bar or a second Era speaker.
$100 Off the Sonos Era 300 Smart Speaker
Sonos Era 300
8
The Era 300 is down to $399 after a $100 off instant discount. It’s nearly double the size and weight of an Era 100 and sounds better because of it. The Era 300 is also shaped differently, but there’s a reason for that. The hourglass figure is designed to optimally arrange the six speakers so that they fire sound in all directions, enhancing Dolby Atmos and spatial audio effects. The Era 300 consist of four tweeters and two woofers paired with Class-D digital amplifiers and custom waveguides to help project sound to all corners of your room.
$140 Off the Sonos Beam Gen 2 Soundbar
Sonos Beam Gen 2
8
The Sonos Beam is a great option for someone who requires a more compact sound bar or simply doesn’t want to spend $900 on the Arc Ultra. It’s currently on sale for $359 after a $140 off instant discount. The Beam (Gen 2) is a 26-inch long, 5.0-channel soundbar with one tweeter and four mid-woofers for natural, balanced sound and four passive radiators to help with the low end. Although the Beam doesn’t have physical height channels, it has two virtual height channels for Dolby Atmos support. It has a microphone for voice control.
$110 Off the Sonos Ace Noise Canceling Headphone
Sonos Ace
37
The Sonos Ace drops to the lowest price I’ve seen for a new, retail boxed set. It’s currently $239 after a $110 off instant discount. This premium wireless headphone features Dolby Atmos spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, lossless audio streaming over Bluetooth, effective active noise cancellation thanks to eight optimally positioned microphones (plus Aware mode), custom designed 40mm dynamic drivers for accurate, distortion-free audio, a mix of plush memory foam and vegan leather for all-day comfort, and a stainless steel headband skeleton for durability. The battery lasts for up to 30 hours with ANC enabled and can be recharged over USB Type-C.
