Train operator SMRT told The Straits Times on Nov 4 that an intoxicated passenger fell onto the tracks at the station, which is part of the Bukit Panjang LRT line, at around 11.35pm that night. This was close to the time the last train was set to depart from the station, at 11.41pm.
