📍Gong Jing Li Qiang Guo Yu 275 New Bridge Rd, Singapore 088750 No wonder the whole @gongjinglisg brand focuses on the signature dish Qiang Guo Yu 炝锅鱼, it really does deliver as the flagship dish that has the super quickly fried aromatics and herbs elevating the flavors of the live fish. I will take this over a Sichuan hotpot any day! In an honest review, I think rating of 4.8 is a bit high if you take into account the crammed environment and slower service during peak hours but in terms of food in Chinatown, this place with its food quality, execution, and value, really is one of the top places I would go back to. ⭐️Other Must-Haves: – Bao Zi – nicely seasoned, dough fluffy and sweet – seafood porridge – best in SG – Tiger green chillis – sweet, almost fruity, and not spicy – sweet and sour pork – batter and balance of sugar and vinegar very nice – free flow soft serve ice cream – surprisingly very good 👍
