ReGEN, a provider of commercial aircraft airframe and engine components and part of Genesis Group, has opened a new components hub at Singapore’s Changi Airfreight Centre.
The facility will stock serviceable airframe and selected engine components for Airbus A320 and A330 families, as well as Boeing 737 and 777 aircraft, allowing airlines and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) providers in the region to access replacement material more quickly.
The Singapore facility is ReGEN’s third regional location and expands its inventory network across Europe, North America and Asia, strengthening its presence in the global used serviceable material (USM) market.
“Opening the Singapore hub allows us to bring ready-to-install, serviceable material closer to customers in the region,” said David Curran, head of ReGEN.
“Growing aircraft utilisation in Asia is driving increased maintenance requirements and demand for replacement material. Establishing inventory in Singapore allows us to respond locally, shorten lead times and provide faster, more reliable access to the components our customers need,” he said.
