FC Jurong romp to consecutive wins

Jurong took the lead midway through the first half, with Yamaguchi finishing Toa Suenaga’s deft pass with aplomb. Suenaga then turned provider again, setting up Haziq for a cross-shot that beat Hougang goalkeeper Takahiro Koga at his near post to give Jurong a two-goal lead at the break. Substitute Ando then rounded off the victory just three minutes after his introduction, calmly guiding Yuma Tsuzurabara’s square pass into the bottom corner.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men in the 76th minute after captain Zulqarnaen Suzliman was dismissed for a last-man offence. There was still time for former AC Milan and Japan midfielder Keisuke Honda to make his Jurong debut, coming on for Tsuzurabara with eight minutes remaining.
