A mother was alarmed after a man allegedly offered her toddler a “half-eaten” steamed bun, or pau, while they were travelling on an MRT train.
In a TikTok post shared on Saturday (Sept 12), user yantilala95 said she only realised what was happening when the food was already in front of her son’s mouth.
She said she immediately screamed and pulled her son, Khalis, closer to her.
In the video, the man can be seen sat on the carriage floor and presumably eating the pau next to the toddler, who is inside a stroller.
“When a stranger (a foreigner) has absolutely no care in the world about the rules and casually sits on the MRT floor while eating his bao,” the mother alleged.
