A man was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs after a car rear-ended a bus along Middle Road in the Bugis area on Saturday (Sept 12).

In photos uploaded to social media, a black Mercedes can be seen crashed into the back of a bus service 56 on the road.

The photos also showed a person with a bandaged head, as well as a vape that was found on a seat in the car.

In response to AsiaOne’s queries, the police confirmed that it was alerted to a road accident involving a bus, a car, and a power-assisted bicycle (PAB) along Middle Road towards Sophia Road at about 6.45pm on Saturday.
