Your favorite champions are returning in League of Legends Classic with all of their pre-rework kits.
As it represents League of Legends in its early era, League Classic will only feature champions from its earliest seasons. Recent champions, like Locke, Yunara, and Zaahen, and relatively old champions, like Yuumi, Yone, and Seraphine, won’t be available. There will only be 60 champions available from the start, with 40 of them being the original cast and 20 extra handpicked releases.

Update (Sept. 10): Poppy, Xin Zhao, Shyvana, Galio, and Fiora have been added to League Classic.

What champs are coming next to League Classic?
The next champions to be added to League Classic will be voted in by The Council, which is essentially the League Classic player base. Players will gain access to The Council as you play Classic and gain Classic Levels. Additionally, people who play Classic more and for a longer period of time will have more voting power — meaning the champions you choose will receive more votes.If your favorite champion didn’t make the cut, don’t worry, as champions were frequently added to League of Legends back in the early era, and champions will be joining the roster at an even faster rate. In a Polygon interview with Paul Bellezza, executive producer of League of Legends, he stated that we can expect more than two champions per update and champions will be batched together. So, rather than voting for a single champion, you’ll instead be voting for a group of champions.
