The private bank has added figures from Indosuez and Citibank as part of its Dubai build-out.
Bank of
Singapore has hired two relationship managers for its Dubai
franchise.
Mahesh Ramakrishnan joined last week from CA Indosuez Wealth
Management, reporting to Salman Bajwa, market head for the Middle
East and Global South Asia.
Shikhy Chandhok has joined from Citibank UAE, reporting to Chetan
Mehra, market head for the Middle East and Global South Asia.
Ramakrishnan advised high net worth and ultra-HNW clients
in the Gulf Cooperation Council region and India at CA
Indosuez. He previously worked at Deutsche Bank and Union
Bancaire Privée in Dubai. Chandhok advised clients on investment,
structured product and financing solutions at Citibank UAE.
The hires follow the appointment of Lim Leong Guan as head of
private banking for the Middle East, Global South Asia and
International, and chief executive of the bank”s Dubai
International Financial Centre branch. Dubai is one of Bank of
Singapore’s three main hubs, alongside Singapore and Hong Kong.
