Gran Turismo 7 players can race for GT World Series Singapore tickets this September

If you have spent countless hours shaving tenths of a second off your lap times in Gran Turismo 7, Sony’s latest competition might be worth a trip down to Orchard Road.

The Gran Turismo 7 Challenge will run at the Sony Store in 313@somerset from 5 to 27 September 2026, giving participants a chance to race their way up a local leaderboard and win tickets to the upcoming GT World Series Singapore Round.

Players will compete using an official GT7 racing setup, with the two highest-placed drivers on the leaderboard at the end of the challenge each receiving a pair of VIP tickets to the Singapore event. Those who finish from third to 35th will each take home two Classic tickets. Interestingly, that makes the prize disparity between second and third place rather significant, even if their lap times are separated by only a fraction of a second.

The challenge serves as a warm-up for the GT World Series Singapore Round, which will be held at Marina Bay Sands on 3 October 2026. Singapore is the third round of this year’s championship, bringing some of the world’s best Gran Turismo drivers together for a live virtual motor esport.

Sony is also running a separate PlayStation promotion alongside the event. Gran Turismo 7 for the PlayStation 5 will be available at its lowest SRP of S$37.80 (a huge saving of S$47) until 16 September.
