SINGAPORE – Bukit Batok Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) and Bukit Panjang NPC will merge to form Bukit Batok NPC on Nov 23, the police said on Oct 31.
The merged centre, which is already under renovation, will reopen in 2026, while Bukit Panjang NPC will be redesigned into a neighbourhood police post (NPP).
The merger is part of the transformation of the police’s front-line operations to better address evolving security challenges and community needs, police said.
The transformation also includes plans to progressively increase the number of police cameras to more than 200,000 islandwide, including in and around the Bukit Batok and Bukit Panjang estates.
