While he’s usually known for his pranks, a Singaporean content creator has had a change of heart and posted a video about an act of kindness instead — and it’s being very well received.
The content creator, who goes by Imran, uploaded a video on Tuesday (Aug 25) showing him approach a stranger at Resorts World Sentosa before offering to bring him to Universal Studios Singapore (USS).
The stranger, known as Dharma, revealed that he has never been to USS before, and took up Imran’s offer.
“First time?” asked Imran. “Yes, very excited,” replied Dharma.
According to the post’s captions, Dharma is an engineer working at Sentosa, and despite having worked there for two years, he has never stepped foot inside USS.
The video then follows the duo as they go on an adventure at the theme park.
Rides they go on include Transformers The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, Battlestar Galactica and Revenge of the Mummy. They also played carnival booth games, including one where Dharma can be seen successfully tossing a ball into a bucket.
Dharma and Imran also enjoyed some snacks and drinks together before buying a couple of souvenirs, including a Transformer keychain which the former hung on his backpack.
They then had dinner together, at what looks like the Kopitiam Food Hall at VivoCity.
“Best moment of my life bro,” Dharma told Imran as they ate. “Unexpected. I won’t forget you.”
To which Imran replied: “Don’t make me cry”.
After the meal, Dharma boarded a vehicle at VivoCity’s private hire vehicle pick-up point while waving goodbye to Imran.
The very last seconds of the video then shows what appears to be a text message from Dharma to Imran, thanking him for the amazing experience.
“Thank you so much! It was such an unexpected and wonderful surprise when you suddenly showed up, took me to Universal Studios, and treated me to all those amazing food and drinks,” the text, with a timestamp of 10.58pm, read.
