A 53-year-old man was found dead in a residential unit at a Housing and Development Board (HDB) block in Tampines on Tuesday (Aug 25) night.
When AsiaOne reached the scene at Block 448 Tampines Street 42 at about 11.30pm, a police car was seen parked downstairs.
A male eyewitness who did not wish to be named told AsiaOne that two fire engines and an ambulance were also present at the scene earlier.
The man, who was hosting a TikTok livestream at that time, was told by a viewer — who claimed to be a resident residing on the ninth floor — that he had heard a loud “bang” and felt some vibrations earlier.
AsiaOne understands that this was when authorities tried to gain access to the 53-year-old’s unit.
