After lunch, Hong prepared to leave for work, but Tang, unhappy that he could not spend more time with her, grabbed his uniform in an attempt to stop him from leaving.

Bus service disrupted

Despite this, Hong proceeded to start work, while Tang boarded the bus he was driving at about 2.40pm and sat in the front seat.

When Hong continued to ignore her, Tang became increasingly upset, reigniting a dispute over $400 she had borrowed from him earlier.

She had returned the money, but later regretted doing so and asked him to give it back to her so she could buy clothes and shoes, but he refused.

Angered by his refusal, Tang called the police and falsely claimed that Hong had stolen $400 from her and assaulted her. 

She also alleged that he had twisted her left hand, reported Shin Min Daily News.

As a result, Hong was forced to stop the bus while police officers investigated the allegations, disrupting the journey of three passengers who had to transfer to another bus.

Following investigations, Tang admitted that she had made the false report over the dispute with Hong.
