CD Projekt Red (CDPR) joint-CEO Michał Nowakowski just revealed that the company is hoping to release The Witcher 4 in 2028. The long-awaited sequel was first announced all the way back in 2022, but didn’t get a reveal trailer until The Game Awards in late 2024.
“Simply put, this is our biggest, boldest and most ambitious game to date,” he said in a short video posted to social media. “I know it’s a bit of a wait and you’d love to play it sooner, but let the team cook.”
