A mother has raised safety concerns after she spotted a man riding what appeared to be an e-scooter without a helmet in Punggol.
The Stomper, who wished to remain anonymous, said she was in the passenger seat of a car travelling along Edgefield Plains and heading towards Oasis Terraces at around 10.40am on Aug 23 when she noticed the rider.
Her seven-year-old child was the one who first pointed him out.
“He was in another lane. Didn’t realise until my kid asked me why the uncle on the bike did not wear a helmet,” she told Stomp.
She said her child was concerned because they had previously heard and seen news reports about accidents involving riders.
