Baristart has released NEW Japanese-inspired dinner dishes! 🇯🇵 . They’re most well known for their delicious cream puffs (which I personally think are the best in Singapore), but their food is also pretty good. Available from 4pm, they have a wide range of tasty dishes for a perfect weekday dinner date. . We were feeling indulgent (and wanted to get some protein in), so we got their Wagyu Striploin 🥩. It was tender and paired perfectly with the yuzu kosho and ponzu. Bonus – it’s served with very crispy fries. For a healthier option, their Signature Grilled Miso Black Cod 🐟 is a good choice too. It comes with dashi in a teapot so you can make your own homely ochazuke. We also enjoyed their simple Kani Mentai Pasta 🍝with a tasty mentaiko sauce that wasn’t too cloying. I def want to try some of their other Japanese pastas! . Aside from mains, we also had to get their Mont Blanc Coffee 🍊 (love a good orange coffee) and Matcha Strawberry Cloud 🍵, along with desserts, of course! Their Very Berry Sundae 🍓 comes with their signature Hokkaido BIEI Jersey Milk Soft Serve, topped with mixed berry compote. It was a perfect pair with their month August special – limited-edition Kopi O MILO National Day Cream Puff 🇸🇬 (see my previous post on it) Nostalgic & perfect for kopi lovers. .
