Singapore’s consumer watchdog has warned members of the public of phishing emails impersonating its officers.
The Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) said in a Facebook post on Friday (Aug 21) that such emails could be phishing attempts designed to obtain recipients’ personal information.
It added that recipients of such emails may be asked to click on a link, provide personal information, or take other actions.
A closer look at the sender’s email address may reveal telltale signs of fraud.
