7 Shenzhen restaurants earn stars in city’s Michelin Guide debut



Shenzhen made its debut in the Michelin Guide on August 18, with seven restaurants earning the southern Chinese city’s first Michelin stars. The selection was unveiled at an event announcing the Michelin Guide Guangzhou & Shenzhen 2026, held at the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen in Luohu district.

Two Shenzhen restaurants received two Michelin stars while five earned one star each. Neither Shenzhen nor Guangzhou, however, claimed the guide’s highest honour: three Michelin stars.
