What would you do if you unexpectedly spotted your best friend’s favourite celebrity on a flight? Would you have the guts to say hello on their behalf?
One woman did exactly that after finding herself on the same flight as Jackson Wang from Hong Kong to Los Angeles earlier this week. She even took the opportunity to help her bestie score a handwritten note from the singer.
Sharing a photo of the note on social media, the overjoyed fan wrote: âWho gets a handwritten note from Jackson Wang with their name on it? Me!â
She added: “Too bad I wasnât on the flight with her. But! My brave, kind, smart and thoughtful bestie gathered up the courage to leave Jackson a note, hoping he could write me a little message of encouragement. She placed it on the table while he went to the bathroom.”
In the note, her friend introduced the fan as Shan Shan and politely asked if Jackson could leave her a short message, but only if it was convenient. She also wished him a pleasant trip to the US, adding that she hoped he would have “fewer worries and more freedom” during his stay.
She signed off as his “next-door neighbour” from seat 17D.
