BYD’s latest light truck is the T35 electric, which has made its Southeast Asian debut in Singapore through Inchcape Plus.
Following its global unveiling at the Japan Mobility Show in 2025, Singapore becomes the first market in the region to receive BYD’s new all-electric urban workhorse.
Designed primarily for small businesses, logistics operators and fleet owners, the T35 joins a growing portfolio of electric commercial vehicles offered by Inchcape Plus as businesses gradually transition away from conventional diesel-powered fleets.

The arrival of the T35 follows the opening of the BYD Commercial Mobility Hub and launch of the larger BYD T9R electric heavy-duty truck in January 2025.
While the T9R is intended for heavier commercial operations and offers a range of 320km, the smaller T35 is aimed at urban and last-mile delivery work. Together, they give Inchcape Plus an electric commercial vehicle portfolio stretching from light-duty applications through to heavier logistics requirements.
“The BYD T35 is a shining example of the sustainable solutions Inchcape Plus is bringing to the region,” said Jimmy Toh, Director, New Energy Commercial Vehicle & Vehicle Lifecycle Services of Inchcape Plus Singapore.
“The vehicle offers a compelling blend of efficiency, safety, and sustainability that can be a strategic asset for businesses in Singapore. As the first market in Southeast Asia to welcome the T35, we are proud to support the nation’s sustainability vision and EV adoption roadmap.”
