I think I overordered again. All this for 2 diners btw. But it’s so good. This is The Coach Restaurant. It’s not another collab money grab. It’s actually VERY good. I am un-gatekeeping this fav spot of mine. Not sponsored btw. I paid for my own meal. Did you know? 🔥 The kitchen is led by Head Chef Kurt Sombero, an alumnus of Burnt Ends, one of Singapore’s most celebrated restaurants with a Michelin Star. Here’s everything we ordered: 🥩 Steak Tartare – S$28 Fresh, beautifully seasoned, and a great start to the meal. Don’t be scared of raw meat. 🥯 Black & White Bagel – S$18 Not a full sized bagel. But it’s got caviar for $18? I feel rich eating this. 🍗 Coach Fried Chicken Bucket – S$26 5 pieces of juicy fried chicken drumsticks served in the iconic Coach bucket. Good for sharing—and definitely one of the most Instagrammable dishes. 🥩 Hanger Steak (220g) – S$40 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The biggest surprise of the evening. Incredible value, perfectly cooked, and honestly the standout dish. If you’re only ordering one steak, make it this. 🥩 Rib-eye Steak 250g – S$90 Rich, juicy and satisfying. USDA Prime Black Angus is not your kopitiam or Aston’s steak. It’s the good stuff. Good value also. 🍟 Fries – S$8 The perfect side for the steaks. Crispy outside, fluffy inside. Thick fries. 🍰 PB&J Bombe Alaska – S$26 Cold and warm at the same time! A spectacular dessert that ends the meal on a high. 🍕 NY slice– S$8 Feels like a good, reliable street slice pizza I ate in NYC. I want the whole pie. But it’s light, easy bite. Dough is properly cooked and plenty of cheese. 💡 Pro tip: Book the bar seats. The steaks do take a little while, but watching the chefs work the open kitchen turns the wait into part of the experience. ⭐ My verdict: 8.8/10 Would I come back?
