Where I’d ACTUALLY bring my friends from @switzerland when they @visit_singapore…. to eat TZECHARRRRR!!! 🦀🍲 @kengengkee Seafood in Alexandra Village has been serving tzechar (it literally means wok + fry) for 3 GENERATIONS: no aircon, plastic chairs, sibeh hot and very noisy but they don’t even chase the crowd, the crowd just comes…. because the FOOD speaks for itself! Must orders: – Chilli crab 🦀 – Claypot liver 🍲 – Coffee Pork Ribs ☕️🐷 – Moonlight horfun 🌙🍳 (If you have even more stomach space get the curry fish head and prawn paste chicken too!!!) Frankly this is no fine dining experience, just honest comforting local Singaporean food, made the same way for decades.
