Methodology: The data for this interactive project was drawn from live bus arrival data using code from the LTA Bus Arrival API, covering 320 bus services across more than 5,000 bus stops. Data was polled every five minutes over five days, from April 20 to April 24, 2026. Each poll recorded the next few buses expected at a stop and the estimated arrival times. Getting confirmation on the exact time a bus arrives is not possible at a five-minute polling interval. Hence, the time gap between the first and second upcoming buses at each stop was used as a proxy for the actual interval between buses.
