This was the first sushi restaurant in Singapore to be awarded 2 MICHELIN Stars, and it’s been 10 years since they gained that accolade just months after their opening in 2016! Shoukouwa is a household name when it comes to Edomae Sushi Omakase in Singapore, and they fly in produce and seafood from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market four times a week! We went for their Hana Omakase Menu, with a high price tag of $580++ per person, it’s indeed fitting for a fancy night out! Starting off with an epic lotus leaf presentation of a delicious combination of Water Shield, Rock Seaweed and Uni, it set the pace for the rest of the meal! Going through some amazing fresh ingredients and tasty flavours from Hairy Crab with Caviar to Smoked Tuna and Kinki Fish, it all lead to their spectacular sushi!
