Came for the KBBQ.. left obsessed with the seafood pancake ๐ฐ๐ท๐ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ (์ก๊ฐ๋ค) is a family-run Korean restaurant in Singapore that has been raved about by many, including our national treasure JJ Lin, who has visited the restaurant before and is said to enjoy their seafood pancake! โจ๏ธ With such a reputation, expectations for their food were high and they met them~ ๐ Featuring the following: ๐ฅฉ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ [$105.90++] Short Ribs | Oyster Blade | Beef Bone Soup | Kimchi Pancake ๐ฝ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐๐๐ญ [$92.90++] Pork Jowl | Pork Skirt | Soybean Paste Stew | Seafood Pancake ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐๐๐ค๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ [$30++] ๐ ๐๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ง [$20++] ๐ณ๐๐ญ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ [$12++] ๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฏ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ค๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข [$32++] Out of everything, my favourite is their ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ค๐ which might just be the best I’ve tried in Singapore – and possibly Korea too! ๐คฉ Packed with scallions and fresh seafood like prawns ๐ฆ & squid ๐ฆ , it has a perfectly crisp outer layer and a moist, chewy interior ๐ This contrast of textures sets it apart from other Korean pancakes I’ve had which tend to be overly crispy or so soft that they start falling apart when you pick them up with your chopsticks ๐ฅบ I also like that the pancake still retains its crispness and doesn’t taste oily even after some time. Would highly recommend ordering this from their side menu at $22++ or as part of their Beef and Pork Sets which offer a choice of 2 meats, 1 soup & 1 pancake ๐๐ป Another dish I really enjoyed is their ๐๐จ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฆ which seems to be an off-the menu-item for now. It’s served with Korean seaweed & steamed rice, and can be enjoyed in 2 ways! โ๐ป One is to make an open-faced handroll topped with generous chunks of crab meat. The other is to mix a substantial portion of crab meat thoroughly with the steamed rice before wrapping it in a piece of seaweed.
