The caper thriller gets a decidedly Korean twist in The Apartment Job, a new star vehicle for Ji Sung (The Devil Judge). The drama follows a cash-strapped gangster who targets an unusual mark for a quick windfall: the administration fund of a high-end apartment complex.
Ji plays the dashing Park Hae-gang, who runs HK Trading and Investment, a front for an illegal gambling den. He operates the company with the help of three lieutenants from his former gang whom he has kept under his wing. He also supports the grizzled gangster who initially took him in as a child.
