KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia and Singapore will finalise the master plan for the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) in the near future and welcome the progress made on the initiative, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar, who is also the finance minister, said he paid a courtesy call on Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, during which they exchanged views on Malaysia-Singapore relations, regional developments, and various issues of mutual interest. Tharman is on a three-day state visit to Malaysia from July 13 to 15 at the invitation of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia.
