It was only a couple months ago that Razer released their Hammerhead V3 HyperSpeed, the latest in their line of TWS earbuds. Well, it seems like ‘latest’ only lasted for a few months, as the company has launched the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed.
It’s a variant of the V3 that’s priced lower and thus comes with a few compromises, namely the lack of ANC and a downgraded Bluetooth version (Bluetooth 5.3 compared to the original V3’s 6.0). Making it somewhat more confusing is that the V3 X has three variants:
- Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed (multi-platform)
- Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed for PlayStation
- Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed for Xbox
The PlayStation (left) and Xbox (right) Hammerhead V3 X variants have their own unique stylings.
