Vivo Y31s 5G laughs in the face of rising costs with a fat battery, available in Singapore

All the core essentials, intact

The Vivo Y31s 5G still comes fully intact with the basics of any Android phone, like its 6.72-inch LCD (2,408 x 1,080 pixels resolution) panel with a maximum 120Hz refresh rate and “90Hz High-Brightness Dotch Display”, 5G network compatibility, a 50MP rear camera (f/1.8 aperture) that’s assisted by a 0.8MP sensor, and a Type-C USB port.

How Vivo keeps this phone affordable lies in the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, Bluetooth 5.1, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage, which aren’t the latest components you can find today, even at the entry level.

That said, it still runs on OriginOS 6 (Android 16), bringing it to the same software found on its midrange V-series and high-end X-series models.

Vivo Y31s 5G is now available in Singapore at S$399, with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. Colours available are Glowing Black and Midnight KL Purple.
