Just 4 minutes into the game, Keito Nakamura cut a low cross back to Daichi Kamada, who found the back of the net. Striker Ayase Ueda doubled his side’s lead in the 31st minute with a precise finish into the far corner. Junya Ito added Japan’s 3rd goal with a clinical strike in the 69th minute, before Ueda headed home his 2nd of the match in the 83rd minute to seal a 4-0 victory and send Tunisia out of the World Cup.
