Singapore to revise household refuse collection fees from 1 July 2026

Households living in HDB and non-landed private homes will pay S$10.64 a month for refuse collection, while landed property fees will rise to S$35.50, following a nationwide fee revision.

Households in Singapore will see an increase in refuse collection fees from 1 July 2026, following a revision under the public waste collection scheme.

According to the announcement by National Environment Agency (NEA), the fee adjustment is part of a regular review to ensure Singapore’s waste management system remains sustainable amid rising operational and manpower costs faced by Public Waste Collectors (PWCs). The last revision was made in 2024.

For HDB flats and non-landed private housing, the monthly refuse collection fee will increase by S$0.44, from S$10.20 to S$10.64, inclusive of 9% GST.
