The space of Hikiniku To Come Singapore at VivoCity is designed around an intimate counter-style configuration where diners sit in a semi-circle surrounding the central open kitchen and smoking binchotan charcoal grills.

The vibe is bustling, lively, and unpretentious. Do note that the restaurant operates on a walk-in digital queue system and seats fill up fast.
The Food Simplicity is key here. There is only one choice on the menu: The Hikiniku To Come Set (S$27.90++). For this price, you get three freshly grilled beef patties, a bowl of miso soup, a raw egg, and free-flow Japanese rice. Sides to add on if you wish include the likes of Potato Salad with Minced Meat (S$7.90) and Raw Kimchi (S$7.90).

The chefs serve the 100% Japanese beef patties one by one, fresh off the charcoal grill, directly onto your individual metal mesh to keep them piping hot. They recommend having each patty in three distinct ways:

The first beef patty can be enjoyed entirely on its own without adding any sauces. The crust has a smoky charcoal sear that is juicy and tender.
