Samsung may be moving away from an all-Exynos strategy for its next-generation foldable flip phone.
According to Korean publication The Bell, the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip8 is expected to adopt a dual-chip strategy, reversing course from the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, which was powered exclusively by the Exynos 2500.
The report claims that Samsung will equip the Galaxy Z Flip8 with the Exynos 2600 in Europe and South Korea, while other markets – including Asia, Australia, and North America – will receive a variant powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy.
