A celebration of Singapore’s beloved local flavours at Pacific Emporium, Pan Pacific Singapore. From the very first bite, the Penang Char Kway Teow impressed with its smoky wok hei and bold, satisfying flavours. The Har Cheong Gai was equally memorable—crispy, juicy, and packed with umami goodness. But the highlight of the afternoon had to be the Bak Kut Teh. Featuring premium baby back ribs that are sous vide for 24 hours before being gently simmered, the meat was incredibly tender and practically fell off the bone. Paired with a rich, peppery broth that kept me coming back for not one, but TWO refills, it was comfort food at its finest. Also featured in this Trio Singapore Local Delight celebration are the flavourful Penang Prawn Noodle Soup and tangy Assam Laksa, bringing together some of the region’s most iconic dishes in one vibrant dining experience.
