Gigabyte commemorates 40th anniversary with ‘Infinity’ PC components

Gigabyte is at Computex 2026, and as you might’ve caught on in our piece on their new GPUs, the theme of their event is ‘Infinity’, a theme in commemoration of their 40th anniversary (it seems to be an anniversary year for a lot of companies at the convention this year).

But GPUs aren’t the only thing being showcased at the Gigabyte booth, because there’s a whole slew of products being unveiled at the event in Taipei, especially in the realm of PC components.

‘Infinity’ Series Motherboards

While we noted that the ‘Infinity’ moniker is being expanded to more Nvidia graphics cards, the company is also expanding that badge to more products outside the GPU line. This includes a new X870 Aorus Infinity and X870E Aorus Infinity Next, two AMD boards featuring X3D Turbo Mode 2.0.

X3D Turbo Mode was originally released in last year’s Gigabyte boards, and is essentially an AI tool for overclocking X3D AMD CPUs, specifically the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2. Having the highest-end AMD motherboard chipsets and being meant for a powerful Ryzen chip means that, according to Gigabyte, gains in memory speed go up to 11,400MT/s with X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 turned on.
